Near London A school is raising money to refurbish its soft play room for some of the most vulnerable children in out society. The Colnbrook Soft Play Crowdfund Campaign is a first for Colnbrook School in South Oxhey. As a small charity, the Friends of Colnbrook says it has had to think "creatively and with renewed determination" to address the needs of some of the most vulnerable children. The school offers specialised learning for more than 100 primary-aged children with speech and language challenges, developmental delay and a range of diagnosis such as autism and downs syndrome. … Friends of Colnbrook has set a fundraising target of £20,000 to totally rebuild the soft play, adding safe, quality equipment to last and refreshing layout to maximise the children’s time in the space. Just under £2,000 has been raised by 47 supporters so far Ms Aplin said: "Support is desperately needed from the public so-as to maximise the potential to reach the ambitious £20,000 target. …
